About Capital Regional Behavioral Health Center Outpatient Services for University Students

Capital Regional Behavioral Health Center Outpatient Services for University Students offers college students outpatient mental health therapy.

Adults between 18 and 25 years old have the highest rate of mental illness compared to other adult age groups according to the National Institute of Mental Health.

Our outpatient program for university students is designed to meet the mental health care needs of young adults facing the pressures of higher education. Our center is located on Florida State University's campus, but our program is available to all students enrolled in university courses, including online courses.

Outpatient behavioral health services

Our intensive outpatient program for students includes 12 hours per week of therapeutic group activities, including:

  • Art therapy
  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy
  • Dual diagnosis therapy
  • Educational group therapy
  • Medication management
