Tallahassee, FL – Capital Regional Medical Center announces the appointment of Mark A. Robinson to the position of Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2015. Robinson brings more than 15 years of healthcare administration experience to this role, having served for the past two years as Chief Executive Officer at Lake City Medical Center in Lake City, Florida. His previous experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina and Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Florida.
“I look forward to joining the Capital Regional Medical Center team, working collaboratively with the medical staff to meet the needs of our patients, and becoming actively involved in the community, “said Robinson. “The facility has an exciting future as a leader in providing healthcare services for Tallahassee and the surrounding communities.” Robinson received his Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a Master of Business Administration as well as a Master of Health Administration from Georgia State University.
