Wound Care Center

The Center for Advanced Wound Treatment Services

A chronic wound is a sore that has not begun the healing process over a four week period or a sore that has not completely healed within two months. Wounds can be the result of several factors such as age, infection of a sore, diabetes or poor circulation. All can lead to a non-healing sore or a “wound.” The specialized staff at the Center for Advanced Wound Treatment Services uses a multi-disciplinary approach to help all types of wounds heal. The Center has been recognized in a national publication for their success in healing wounds thought to be incurable. Our staff includes: physicians, nurses, physical therapists, infection control consultants, dietitians, certified hyperbaric technicians and hyperbaric physicians specially trained to treat the most severe wounds. We utilize state-of-the-art approaches and remain at the forefront of new scientific advancements. We work together toward a common goal: wound healing and preventing infection or re-injury.
