The Emergency Department at Capital Regional Medical Center is staffed around the clock by physicians, nurses and healthcare professional specifically trained to deliver emergency medical services at a moment's notice.

Pediatric Emergency Room
In 2010, Capital Regional Medical Center hospital provided emergency care to more than 12,000 children. Now the facility offers the Pediatric Emergency Room.

Capital Regional Medical Center offers a Senior Care Emergency Room, offering specialized emergency care for seniors. The Senior Care ER has a designated area of the main ER to optimize the healthcare services, comfort, and safety of the elderly patient.
The Senior Care ER's unique offerings include free valet parking, a separate area for a more peaceful setting, softened lighting, state-of-the-art stretchers, and an interdisciplinary team of expert professionals knowledgeable in the field of geriatric care.
Capital Regional Medical Center offers the area's only division designed to treat minor emergencies as a priority. Express ER is a division of the Emergency Department and is designed to treat problems such as sprains, fractures, flu, respiratory infections and common pediatric concerns without the traditional emergency room wait.
Express ER is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our staff of highly skilled emergency department physicians and nurses are ready to treat your minor emergency without the traditional ER wait.
Express ER is not intended to compete with primary care physicians. The goal is to provide worker-friendly medical care when doctor's appointments are hard to get or after office hours. Express ER is part of the Emergency Department.
