Emergency Care – Gadsden Campus
Capital Regional Medical Center Gadsden Memorial Campus
Capital Regional Medical Center is proud to bring high quality emergency medical care to the citizens of Gadsden County and the surrounding area. Capital Regional’s Gadsden Memorial Campus represents our commitment to providing the highest quality healthcare services to communities throughout the region.
The benefits this brings include:
- Emergency healthcare services available 24/7. Area residents receive the same high quality emergency care they have had to travel outside the community to receive at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee.
- Staffed by experienced emergency room physicians as well as nurses and technicians highly trained in providing emergency care. Approximately 40 new jobs were created in Gadsden County.
- Equipped with state of the art medical technology, lab services, and radiology including x-ray and CT and Ultrasound. Immediate healthcare needs met onsite, without sacrificing access to appropriate medical technology.
“Before the Gadsden Memorial Campus opened, the EMS personnel had to take patients to Tallahassee for treatment,” said Brian Cook, President and CEO of Capital Regional Medical Center. “Not only was this very dangerous for those experiencing life-threatening emergencies, it was also very expensive. We are proud to continue to offer a full-service emergency facility in a community that can address patient needs without a 30-minute drive.”
In just two years, the Gadsden Memorial Campus has served more than 33,000 patients.
